I started off my day at my local YMCA (50 percent off the joining fee and 50 percent off the first full month of membership) for my regular morning workout. I felt great. I showered and dressed in my new Brooks Brothers suit (15 percent off) and headed downtown.

On the way, I stopped for coffee and paid for it with my BAMSL Commerce Bank Personal Visa Rewards credit card — with no annual fee (featuring extraordinary benefits and enhanced personal service, privileges and access, and NO annual fee!). When I got back into the car, it would not start — dead battery. So I called AAA (join today for less than 15 cents per day and receive 24/7 Roadside Assistance, FREE identity theft monitoring, and more) to take care of the problem.

Fortunately, my first meeting for the day was by web conferencing, so while I waited for the AAA mechanic to arrive, I logged into the meeting through RollCall Business Conferencing Solutions (legal conferencing and collaboration solutions, including audio, web, and video conferencing). After a successful negotiation on the case, and with a new battery, I continued my trip downtown.

My landlord is remodeling my offices, so I met a potential client at BAMSL's Bar Center (complimentary use of Guest Offices, Conference Room, Boardroom and Classroom). After we had spoken for a while, I wanted to double-check a point of law before committing to take the case, so during a quick break, I searched LexisNexis (discounted subscription) for the statute I needed. When my client returned and signed my representation agreement, I accepted an advance fee using Law Pay (Law Pay Credit Card Processing — merchant accounts developed specifically for attorneys and law firms). I handed my new client a copy or our agreement in one of my fancy firm folders with my contact information (Company Folders, Inc. — 10 percent discount on premium folders with a lifetime warranty).

Once my new client left, I printed the real estate forms I needed from formsRus.com (Create/Organize/Manage — obtain the most current real estate forms in one place) and then logged into Clio Practice Management Software to track my time (assists with time and billing and client collaboration — for small to mid-size law firms — 10 percent lifetime discount, free trial, live 1:1 web demos and unlimited access to live customer support).

Before I left the BAMSL office, I chatted with an employee about BAMSL's Legal Placement Services (for employers looking to fill a permanent position and for legal professionals seeking employment) and we agreed I will send an ad to hire another paralegal now that I have this great new client.

Once I was back in my car, I made a note to myself to reach out to Moresource Inc. (discounted professional payroll services including insurance, human resources, bookkeeping, employee benefits, IT managed services, computer repair, and more) to talk to them about adding another employee.

My afternoon at work flew by, and while I was there, my house was cleaned (A Thru Z Housekeeping — 15 percent discount) and my other Brooks Brothers suits (supra) were picked up and delivered (Apple Cleaners Dry Cleaning — 10 percent off all services including alterations and complimentary pickup and delivery service to your door).

Which is a good thing, because part of my afternoon was spent using HotelStorm to plan a spring break trip (10-55 percent discounts, online travel agency). If it were up to my spouse, we would have a stay-cation in St. Louis. Which would not be so bad if we could stay at the Four Seasons (save up to 59 percent off published rates) or the Magnolia Hotel St. Louis (discounted room rates of $142 per night plus taxes, including complimentary breakfast, cookie buffet, guest reception and more).

And so ends another day in the life of a BAMSL Member taking advantage of all the Membership Benefits that your BAMSL membership offers throughout the year.
