Each May is recognized as Mental Health Month, a national movement to raise awareness about mental health issues, fight stigma related to mental health, and educate others about mental health.

This May the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is hosting a "Your are Not Alone" campaign featuring the lived experiences of people affected by mental illness. Now more than ever, with COVID-19 and social distancing, it is important for the everyone to come together and show the world that no one should ever feel alone. Get connected and learn more about mental illness by reading stories from those who live with mental illness.

Earlier this month, May 4-8, BAMSL and BAMSL's Well-Being Committee joined with the National Task Force on Lawyer Well-Being to celebrate Lawyer Well-Being Week. During the week each day featured resources focused on physical, spiritual, intellectual, social, and emotional well-being. The Well-Being Committee is comprised of BAMSL members with an interest in the well-being of the legal community. The committee meets regularly throughout the year and has compiled a well-being resources page and contributed to BAMSL's COVID-19 resource page.
