Statement from The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis - Recent News

Although members of the legal community were disturbed by the photos and video showing two attorneys from the St. Louis area brandishing weapons over the weekend, The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis (BAMSL) is a voluntary bar and neither of the depicted lawyers belong to our organization.

Further, BAMSL is not responsible for disciplinary actions against lawyers, as the Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel is the responsible authority to investigate complaints against attorneys in Missouri. If you have concerns regarding the actions of a lawyer, please contact the Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel. Learn more about the Missouri Attorney Discipline System and how to file a complaint at www.mochiefcounsel.org.
