Through its Criminal Justice Act (CJA) Plan, the Court's 2022 CJA Application Process is open. Dependent on experience, attorneys not currently on the CJA Panel, who wish to serve as appointed contract counsel on criminal cases, may apply to be members of the CJA Panel or the CJA Mentee Panel. The application and more information on CJA related processes is located on the Court's website at https://www.moed.uscourts.gov/criminal-justice-act-cja.

Any attorney requesting to be a new member of the CJA Panel or CJA Mentee Panel Program must submit a completed application for membership no later than July 6, 2022. Applications must be sent to the attention of Clerk of Court Gregory J. Linhares by email to MOED_CJA_Applications@moed.uscourts.gov by the deadline stated above. For those selected, new CJA panel member terms will begin in October.

NOTE: Existing CJA Panel attorneys should not reply to this application request. You will be contacted separately with reapplication directions.
