Supreme Court of Missouri Issues Rule Waiving Annual Enrollment Fees for Pro Bono Attorneys - Recent News

Rule 6.01(o) is designed to allow attorneys in good standing who practice only pro bono to have their annual bar dues waived, as long as they are practicing under the auspices of "an approved legal assistance organization." Which is any organization protected by the state legal expense fund under Missouri Statute 105.711.2 or any organization otherwise approved by the Supreme Court of Missouri. Therefore, attorneys wanting to take advantage of this rule should first coordinate with the organization for which they will be providing services.
