The holidays can be a great time of gathering with friends and family to share our gratitude, but we often overindulge and may harm our physical health. Please keep these 12 tips in mind to help stay healthy this holiday season.

  1. Be consistent in your eating habits.
  2. Don't overly restrict your diet.
  3. Combat stress with good nutrition.
  4. Rev up your energy levels by adding fiber-rich foods and staying hydrated.
  5. Snack before parties.
  6. Be mindful of your eating.
  7. Get your blood pumping through physical activity.
  8. Keep the water flowing to stay hydrated.
  9. Go easy on the alcohol.
  10. Enjoy doing you.
  11. Have some fun in the kitchen with your family or friends.
  12. Slow it down.
