St. Louis, MO – The Bar Association of St. Louis (BAMSL) is pleased to announce that former St. Louis Rams wide receiver Isaac Bruce is our special guest speaker for our annual Member Appreciation Reception on Feb. 27.

February is BAMSL Member Appreciation Month and in the tradition of the month of love, we show our love and appreciation for our members throughout the month with various activities and displays of gratitude.

On Feb. 27, we culminate with a private Member Appreciation Happy Hour for BAMSL members and their guests. Isaac Bruce will deliver a motivational speech. The program and social hour are 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Saint Louis University School of Law Pavilion (100 N. Tucker Blvd., 12th Floor, St. Louis, MO 63101). BAMSL members will be able to have their photographs taken with Bruce.

Bruce and The Isaac Bruce Foundation continue to support BAMSL’s annual Motion for Kids holiday party for children whose lives have been severely impacted by the justice system.

Bruce had 201 starts in the 223 games he played during his NFL career. Considered one of the best wide receivers to play in the NFL, he is ranked fifth in NFL history with 15,208 receiving yards. Bruce played with 22 different quarterbacks and under eight different coaches during his remarkable 16 seasons in the NFL (14 with the Rams and two with the San Francisco 49ers). The St. Louis Rams retired his No. 80 jersey in 2010. St. Louis fans will never forget when Bruce caught a 73-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Kurt Warner with less than 2 minutes to play in the game to give the Rams a 23-16 victory in Super Bowl XXXIV.
