Mock Trial Volunteers Needed for March 27-29

Calling all attorneys and legal professionals, we need your help! Volunteers are needed to serve as judges and jurors for the state championship on March 27-29 at the Carnahan Courthouse. No mock trial or litigation experience is necessary.

We need:
11 volunteers for Friday evening, March 27
13 volunteers for Saturday morning, March 28
2 volunteers for Saturday afternoon, March 28
2 volunteers for Sunday morning, March 29

YLD Networking Happy Hour

The BAMSL Young Lawyers Division (YLD) is holding a Happy Hour on Thursday, March 19 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at Milo’s Bocce Garden for an evening of networking, pizza, and beer (while supplies last) on the outdoor party patio (weather permitting). If the weather does not cooperate, we will be in the back room.

LGBTQ+ Committee Spring Wine Night

Join BAMSL's LGBTQ+ Committee for a networking happy hour at Daniel Fanning's home on Wednesday, March 18 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.

WILP Happy Hour and Clothing Drop Off for St. Louis Suit Project

Please join the WILP Section on Wednesday, April 1, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the BAMSL Headquarters for a beverage and donate some clothes to the St. Louis Suit Project.

The nonprofit organization accepts gently used professional business attire for men and women, including suits, sport coats, blazers, slacks, skirts, pantsuits, button-down long-sleeve undershirts, and work-appropriate dresses (interview and office attire). They ask that donated items be clean and in good condition, with no stains, rips, or holes.

Join us on Wednesday, March 25, at JAMS Headquarters for an engaging CLE program and networking opportunity sponsored by JAMS from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. This CLE will explore practical strategies for diagnosing and overcoming common barriers that stall complex disputes. Attendees will gain insight into managing authority issues, navigating emotional dynamics, and using tools such as reframing and mediator proposals to move negotiations toward resolution. A happy hour will follow the program.
